For the final project2

I keep thinking what to do for my final project.
I remember Waseem told us we should connect it with our interests...So firstly, website design. Secondly, shopping...So>_
The special point is to offer fitting room severce.
Because first of all, when we shopping online, we are always worried about the size. It is always the case that the items we buy don't fit us when receiving them and it causes too many problems if we wanna return them. So the items just laying in our wardrobe. So once our website has the service offering the fitting room, it will be competative than others.

wishes to you--Ning

There is nothing special for my university life in China, common campus, common lecturers, common life, common infrastructures. But my roomates gave me warm feelings and warm memories.

Ning is a girl who has hard life to some extent because she doesn't have good economic situations. She supported herself in the 4-year time. I really admire her. Some months ago, the Ministry of Education claimed the gradutes who joined the army would be offered quite good conditions. Ning decided to do this and she made it.

2-year time, cannot to see her and she must face every hardships by herself. I don't know why, I hurts a lot. And at the same time, I consider her as my example...

All the wishes to you~and I will go to Ji Nan to see you next summer holiday~

Merry X'mas and happy new year to everybody~
I was quite busy in this holiday because my friend came here from Cork intending to have a happy time together. So...we eat all day long...shopping all day long and sleep all day long= =
Maybe because of the pressure several days ago, I must keep thinking the deadline of my homework...so I really wanna relax.
At the same time, I am homesick...especially I have nothing to do. So to some extent, busy time can help me feel time flies. Half more year, I can go home.
Frankly, i cannot feel the automosphere of new year...so I don't think it is a new start. I just live on~during this process I feel the happiness feel the pain.
Whatever, try my best to learn more to give better permormances.

For the final project

Frankly, because I just learned such a little bit things and don't know which area is the most popular one. According to what I learnt, I am interested in web design. So in the following second semester, I will learn more techeniques of back stage. Keep going with the latest trend of this part so that I can design a complicated web with good functions and usability.

Change

On the road back home, I recalled my university life in China and always kept thinking about my video production. I found now my life is full of assignment and also I indeed learn many things. Frankly, this course is absolutely new to me, I have no relevant experience know nothing about final cut, photoshop...However, I really feel I did a right choice to study overseas. I know more and broaden my versions. So it is a hard time but at the same time, really good.
I still arrange the schedule of all the assignment and finish on time, whenever to start will never late, not to say I am so young^_^
Keep going, all the scenes on my road are a wealth to me, no matter good or bad, I will always to value them and then, enjoy them..

Kind of aritist

Strong:
This thought comes from us overseas students. Because of the long distance from our home, we cannot go back there usually, which there are surely separated lovers. In addition, we are now not little child already and should consider our futures as well, so all these things make long-distance relationship harder to maintain. The lovers in my photo are chatting with video to release their miss. The boy is my roommate and now he has a part-time job in his spare time here, so he can save money. Moreover, the one we can depend on is ourselves in this strange place so he is learning how to be strong, how to become a real man. In the photo, he is promising to his girlfriend. He promised to her that he would go back as soon as possible and told her he is strong enough to protect her, to give her their common future. The girl is moved to tears. Stories like this are happening everywhere from my point of view and every time I see photos like this, I can feel the happiness as well. Love is really strong to go through the long distance, to break the limitation of space and time.



Love:
The idea of this photo is showing mother love, which is the greatest love of human beings. The doll stands for little child, who is so vulnerable. The umbrella is a symbol of protection from our mother. We also can notice that the sky is half sunny and half cloudy, this means our society is unpredictable. But no matter how the weather is, no matter how serious our conditions are, our mothers are still protecting us with their strong arms and give us a safe harbour all the time.



Corrupt:
The whole tone of this photo is kind of dark because corruption in my mind is a dark aspect of our society. I set the main scene inside the door, this means that everyone has a door of corruption in our heart and the important thing is whether we keep it close or to what extent we open it. I leave the door ajar to give audiences a moving feeling which stand for that there is someone walking into this door. The arrow is made of coins and it lead to a mousetrap, kind of trap but at the same time, it is a lure. Because there is money there, that is to say, bribery is waiting there. If you are attracted by your desire for money, you will trapped by yourself and hurt yourself. The arrangement of currency is according to the denomination, from small to large. This means people always get increasingly greedy once you are corruptive. But they do not realize what a dangerous thing they are doing. So we should curb our desire thereby living a healthy and active life.

CHANEL

COCO CHANEL was the founder of the gaint of fashion--CHANEL, and I like her design principles very much.Simple, confortable. She believed fashion was everywhere and she said:Women wear clothes for themselves rather than for men. We can see she was a elegant, confident lady.
All these things attracted me very much, so I intend to build up websites of her and her fashion empire.

The first time I use photoshop

HOT:
Overall, I intend to show the audiences a life full of passion. So I choose the gradient tool with red and orange color as the backgroud. Because our lives are different and people choose different ways to live as well so the colorful lines stand out our lives. As for the word of hot, I blurred the top of the alphabet which look like surging flame and also like the protential passion of life. Some red flames appear gleamingly in the colorful lines. The whole desigh shows us a hot life full of energy, full of passion, full of hope.





DARK:
As the sentence in the picture says, if you cannot grasp any chance in your life, your life will get dark. I use the angle gradient tool from different direction to set a lighting effects and put a hand in the spotlight. The folding hands stand for a person who always let the chance go. In fact, god give us numerous opportunities to achive out goles,however, if we do not pay effeorts and watch the chances slipping away, our shine in our lives will be eclipsed, will be dark.





COLD:
When it comes with cold, the first imge appears in my mind is snow so the white part stand for a hill covered by snow and the swaying trees to show us the severe wind. On the top of the white part I increase the opacity so show the snow which be blowed up. The trail of footprint imply in the so cold day, only one animal trudges in the snow to show kind of lonely. In point of the word –cold, I draw several white circle on the top to suggest the word is covered by snow as well.



BRIGHT:
This design is kind of abstract. Overall, I want to show a picture of seaside with brilliant sunshine and a nice rainbow. The yellow and brown part stand for the beach and the blue part is sea and cloudless sky. Because the word is bright, so I set a luminous circle around the word. I hope people will produce a feeling of hope when they see this picture. As the echo of rainbow, I set the letter with different letters as well.


This is my first time to use Photoshop so even though my ideas are OK, as for the prospect of technique, I am a completely novice. During the following days I will try my best to learn more about Photoshop.

a whole new week~

Because I have no classes in friday so tuesday always become my new start~Hah, I think it's not a bad thing^_^
In the whole weekend I was keen on my photoshop..Never used it before so I have to watch many videos on Internet for the sake of the assingment of visual communication= =
I always consider man should do the right things in the right time~As a student I should learn hard..however, I'm not satisfied with myself..so sometimes I feel down, but just a second^^
Tomorrow is a new start~new week~I will try my best to live a rich and full life>_<

amazing..

Well, actually, frankly, to be honest, because of my poor English so I didn't understand the movie very well.However, I'm reading a book about graphic design and after combining these two I just wanna say,,it's amazing. Just simple ABCD, but the designers can make so many kinds of works. Day by day I begin to realize the course I'm learning is a big area,everytime I learnt from classes or read sth from book,I felt suprised:Ah..it is visual communication again!~ As the book says, the more we know, the more we sensive,the more we sensive, the more we perceive,the more we perceive, the more we know.It's a circle dance^_^

visual communication help us to memorise

Well,I've been in class for nearly one month and I found I gradually become engaged in my courses even I have no relevant experience before.Just because of this, I should pay more energy into it.
Today I read a paragraph from the book:images weave themselves into your memory system, sometimes lying dormant for years.You remember and communicate these mental images because they are highly meaningful visual messages.
Suddenly I felt just the same as the words and suprised to know visual communication infiltrated in our life so deeply.We all experienced that some happy or sad things happened and fade away after sometime but if they are memorised by photo or video, everytime we watch them, it make us feel as if we partispated in the things again.

Happy birthday to my China~

I must say happy birthday to my great China>_< It was nationalday 2days ago and we had a grand parade in the Tian Anmen Square so when I took the language training class Brenden said"Yes, I knew it beacause all newspaper and websites covered by the army." So,wow~I can feel the power of media= =We can soon to know current affairs all over the world when it is happening.In the Digital media&society,orla tried to make a discussion on the defination of what the information society is.The same, I think digital media is becoming the mainstream media way. Why~? From my point of view, firstly, nowadays technology is developping at a high speed and high-tech industry is replacing the traditional manufacturing.So, media acts as one part of all industries should mix the advanced techonology as well.Accordingly, if media intends to offer man with more entertainment and bring more sensative adventures, it has to combine with digital aspects.So digital media agrees with the present trend and sure to become flourishing^_^

After 2-week courses,I feel better gradually.I can understand lecturer better, have more self-confidence to speak English and communicate with classmates, get more interest in my subject~

Now I'm enjoying the life here because I know not everyone have the oppotunity to go abroad.There is indeed income differences between China and Western courties so I know I must learn hard.Frankly, my courses for my BA degree are the relevent things about computers and management.The timetable was more intensive at that time,but I didn't concentrate all my efforts on my study, so even though I contect many programming languages, I just heard about it= =Now when I do everything by myself I feel very good^_^especially in the Internet authoring, when the page come out perfectly according to the markup language I wrote, I have a sense of accomplishment^_^So I'll try my best to study well~

Really everywhere= =

After the class in Thursday,I borrowed a book from the lab,1000 signs.From it, I found the foundamental elements are really point, line, shape, color, texture.The reasons why the designs can attracted me are the bright colors, interesting expression.Especially comparing the things of the same kind we will find the originality.More creative the disigh is, more attractive it is.Yesterday I had a stroll with my camera specifically and discovered visual communication is really ubiquitous.The aims of most of them are indeed persuade,persuade individuals to vote or buy sth.Alternatively,for the purpose of entertainment.In addition,I found the differences between the ads & visual communication as well.The disign outside should be made striking firstly, and the volumn of information should be small and to th point.It is always the case the pedestrians would not stop to watch what you said,so we should send what we wanna express to the receivers in the shortest time.
However,I found a drawback of visual communication,that is senders cannot get feedback when the receivers get the information.Maybe due to I just begin to learn this area and know little about this= =
